Apple unveiled its latest phones, the iPhone 17 series. That's updates to three known models and also the new iPhone Air, that takes the place of the Plus. If camping out on release day isn’t really your style, but you still need to get your hands on one as soon as possible, you will be able to place a pre-order for the iPhone 17, 17 Pro, 17 Pro Max or iPhone 17 Air from 10pm AEST on September 12, ahead of the September 19th release date.The iPhone 17 has a redesigned look with a slightly larger 6.3-inch display and thinner borders. And after much anticipation (and a lot of grumbling), the base iPhone finally has a a 120Hz refresh rate.
Inside, the new A19 chip is more powerful as well as more efficient, particularly when paired with Apple Intelligence. If you are upgrading from an older iPhone, you'll notice a massive jump in speed and improved gameplay thanks to ProMotion.
On the camera front, you will find a 48MP Fusion main camera (shooting 24MP photos by default) and a 2x telephoto lens. The device’s ultra-wide camera also receives an upgrade to 48MP, making macro photography sharper and much more detailed.

iPhone 17 Colours
The iPhone 17 will come in black, white, steel gray, light blue, green, and purple.The iPhone 17 Air is set to come in four shades: black, white, light gold and sky blue.
The Pro and Pro Max models will be offered in colours including blue, orange and silver.
